Ha ha ha ha ha. We think we have figured how to outsmart the lazy content scraping autobloggers. We’re testing it right now. It’s top secret, but it appears to be working.

‘m a just squeaking by, after four and a half years of publishing quality content and Google ranking stolen content higher than the original. I’m exhausted but have not given up yet. Many of my friends and colleagues who have worked creating websites that provide great American service are going under.
The saddest part of the Google Panda update is that it is putting honest American journalists out of work and paying off-shore scrapers in Adsense revenue. Google is sending searchers to the what Google has determined is better for the searchers, makes more money for the Google and is not what the searchers are actually looking for.

In a landmark case in the United Kingdom according to the Register:
A 23-year-old student, Richard O’Dwyer is facing extradition to the US, and possibly five years in a federal prison, after the British courts ruled he should face charges of copyright infringement for linking to websites hosting pirated content.
The student linked to sites that allowed users to view copyrighted content. O’Dwyer made over $230,000 from advertising from linking to pirated movies, TV shows and other content.
What I don’t understand is how Google can continue to send searchers to known stolen content before the original content without a single fine.
While researching Black Friday sales, I noticed some really bad search results from Google. The website URLs had trademarked names in them followed by the term Black Friday. Most of the website names were registered in November 2011. These websites ranked higher than than the trademarked companies.

Along with verbatim content being stolen and ranking higher than the original, the Google Panda Update has completely screwed up search results. We have been monitoring it. The latest thing being done is spinning content.
The content pirate takes the article, puts it through some kind of translater so that it doesn’t make sense to a human being and the spits it back out.
Google then rates that article higher in search results than the original article.
Yesterday, we ran a an “APP Rapport Thankful for Apps Edition.” Today a Google search for that term sends to the top of search a bunch of non-human English Garbage.
It’s easy to find the coutnerfeit because they don’t change the title! The spun content is really hard to read and often ridiculous. A blow-by-blow examination follows.

s an independent web publisher we try to obey the rules and the law. We have never used a trademarked name in a URL because it infringes upon that trademark.
However, any fly-by night criminal or quick webmaster can register a domain name with a trademarked name in it and through Google’s algorithmn ASSumptions, it will be ranked higher that a news website with over four years of quality reporting. ‘m really trying not to get too sick over this Google Panda mess. After publishing 8 articles today, then spot checking the titles. Almost every article was stolen by a pirate scraper and the scraper website was first on Google search results.
The title has our own brand of humor and puns, “AT&T Falls for Android with Fall Releases: Falling in Love with Android & Power?” A pirate website does not have a sense of humor.
We added links, copyright information to our RSS feed, cut it the RSS feed short and disallow hotlinking. Instead of the source Wireless and Mobile News, being the first Google search result you get pirated, vomited crap with our pithy title. This is the very first result on Google when you search the title, not logged in to any Google account.
The Google search result shows this piece of copied content as the first Google result along with our copyright information. “Copyright WIRELESS AND MOBILE NEWS, LLC. All rights reserved.”
The original article took about an hour to edit and write, three seconds to steal, while they make Google Adsense revenue off of our labor.
Google is in violation of U.S. copyright law because Google is contributing to the infringement of copyright by sending searchers to stolen content.
The website in question registered the domain in July of this year. Wireless and Mobile News has over 7,000 articles and has been published since September 2007.

I’ve been saddened by all the businesses Google destroyed, while fly-by-night pirates get the traffic and the business.
The most upsetting part of this whole mess is that Google has not admitted there is problem and no matter what we webmasters do, the Googlebot ranks unprofessional garbage higher than quality businesses that have been around for years.
As we plan to meet with attorneys, we have been monitoring the deplorable pratices of Google Search.
We’ve seen sites that are are scraped messes of words and images come up higher than original content from Wireless and Mobile News. The latest is super scraper site that within an hour of publication, takes content by the next day ranks higher. It obviously scraped content because it shows the image shown here.
Today, we published a an article leaving in a link to the Matt Cuts scraper reporting site. Maybe we should put that link in every single article published and ask the billions of Googlers to complain when they get awful scrraped stolen search results.
If scrapers can automatically know how to steal content why can’t the Google geniuses figure out a way to know which article is the original?
